With roles in celebrated productions like Jersey Boys and Book of Mormon under his belt, Andrew Rannells is also making his mark on the small screen. He is following appearances earlier this year on HBO's hit show Girls with a lead in NBC's The New Normal.

The Grammy Award-winner chatted with NPR Host Terry Gross on Fresh Air about his character, Bryan Collins, who brings a comedic spin to the challenges of starting a family.

While Andrew stopped by NPR West for his interview, we snapped this photo of him showing some animated love for NPR.
