Public Radio East's morning classical music host, Finley Woolston, has put together a "who's who" of Eastern North Carolina musicians for an afternoon concert you won't want to miss.By Jennifer Baer

Join Public Radio East on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. for Finley and Friends, A Benefit Concert at Orringer Auditorium on the campus of Craven Community College.
Public Radio East's morning classical music host, Finley Woolston, has put together a "who's who" of Eastern North Carolina musicians for an afternoon concert you won't want to miss. The concert repertoire is reflective of the station's diverse on-air music programming with numerous musical artists performing a variety of Classical, Opera, Choral, Jazz, Americanna, and Folk selections.
In addition to the multi-talented Finley Woolston, the musical guests for the performance will include: ? The Extemporary Classical Quartet - Classical Selections ? Charles Bath, Piano and Joanne Bath, Violin - Classical Selections ? Sharon Munden, Mezzo-Soprano and John O'Brien, Piano Accompanist - Opera Arias & Duets ? The Sine Nomine Singers - directed by Finley Woolston ? Andrea and Phil Owens - Vocal and Guitar, Jazz Duo ? The Sons of Dixie - Vocal Quartet , Southern Americana ? Molasses Creek - Ocracoke's Island's Favorite Band.
The artists are coming from all across Eastern North Carolina to perform for the benefit of the Public Radio East Foundation. Ticket proceeds from this event will be used to support music programs on Public Radio East.
Finley and Friends, benefit concert tickets are $25 each. To purchase tickets by credit card, call the station at (800) 222-9832. Tickets may also be purchased by check.
