Now deep into the winter lulls of January, last year's holiday festivities and vacation travels feel like a long-distant memory. And while we've retired our decorations for another year, we turned up a couple festive items left to brighten post-holiday spirits.
In December, R&B artist KEM and pop singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat each visited NPR headquarters for Morning Edition interviews about their holiday albums inspired by warm memories of holidays past. KEM spoke with NPR's David Greene about his album What Christmas Means, and Caillat shared the mic with host Renee Montagne to discuss her latest release Christmas in the Sand.
Before leaving our Washington, D.C., winter behind, both Caillat and KEM warmed our hearts with their love for NPR.
