Vocalist Madeleine Peyroux started out busking on the streets of Paris, but went on to gain international acclaim for her versions of beloved folk tunes and jazz standards. Her 2013 album, The Blue Room, honors the legacy of artists such as Ray Charles and Leonard Cohen with interpretations of their songs.

On this episode of Song Travels, Peyroux joins host Michael Feinstein to talk about her life as a much-traveled musician and her love of song. Musical selections include her cover of an obscure Buddy Holly tune, "Changing All Those Changes," as well as a recording from her early days singing with a street band in Paris.
