Mobile Spay-Neuter Clinic Opens in ENC
New Bern, NC – One local non-profit--Encore Pets-- is hoping to decrease the number of stray pets by opening a new, mobile clinic in our area that provides low-cost spaying and neutering services. Public Radio East's Emily Byrd spoke with JoAnne Shertzer, president of Encore Pets and director of the mobile clinic about the magnitude of the overpopulation problem and the organization's mission.
