The North Carolina Department of Transportation has released their first-ever customer survey. Lee Jenkins has more.
The Department of Transportation began mailing a brand new customer survey to North Carolina residents just two weeks ago. The NCDOT designed the survey to measure customer satisfaction with state transportation services. Performance Metrics Director Ehren Meister says the survey takes a comprehensive look at North Carolina’s transportation system.
“We want to know if our citizens and customers believe the transportation system is safe - how is our infrastructure? Not only do we look at highways, but we also want to know how our citizens and customers view public transit, rail, bicycle and pedestrian transit and North Carolina as well as what folks think of our Division of Motor Vehicles.”
The department plans on conducting the survey annually, using the results to improve customer service performance. The department estimates it will take about 15 minutes to complete. You can find it by copy and pasting this link into your address bar: go.ncsu.edu/customerserivce2015
