New Bern, NC – Do you ever wonder when you drop your kids off at school, if they're learning anything? According to a report released by the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy, 46% of North Carolina's schools didn't meet expected growth outlined by the state accountability system last year. The problem may be linked to the growing rate of teacher absences.
