According to NCDOT, road conditions across most of NC are rapidly deteriorating, and flooding remains a concern for the next several days.

Onslow County

South of Jacksonville US-17, Heading South. Road Impassable - Expected Impact to traffic is High.  Southbound US 17 only is closed from Old Maplhurst Road (sr 1130) to Dawson Cabin Road (SR 1107) due to flooding.

Jones County

In Maysville US-17, Both Directions Road Closed - Expected Impact to traffic is High. US 17 is flooded at the White Oak River in Maysville.

In Pollocksville US-17, Both Directions Road Closed - Expected Impact to traffic is High. Bridge Overtopped with water.

Beaufort County

Near Washington US-264 (Pactolus Highway), Both Directions Near Bonner Street Road Impassable - Expected Impact to traffic is High. The road is closed between Bonner St and Hudnell St. due to flooding.

Craven County

Near New Bern NC-55, Mile Marker 5 to 6.0, Both Directions Near SR-1423 (N West Craven Middle School Rd)Expected Impact to traffic is Medium.  Road closed due to low powerlines in trees.

Near New Bern SR-1243 (Ipock Ln), Both Directions Near NC-43.  Expected Impact to traffic is Medium.  Roadway closed due to flooding from Hurricane Florence.

NC-55 (Front Street Ramp)Ramp Closed West of Bridgeton - Expected Impact to traffic is High. Hurricane Florence caused storm surge that resulted in approach fill being removed from ramp.  The roadway has collapased at this location.
