Social Media Buzz: From 'Tech Bro' To Dolphin Selfie

A San Francisco tech worker is getting criticism online after he sent an open letter to the city’s mayor and police chief complaining that homeless people are turning the city into a “shanty town.” Justin Keller wrote, “we live in a free market society” and “I shouldn’t have to see the pain, struggle, and despair of homeless people to and from my way to work every day.”

Femi Oke, host of “The Stream” on Al Jazeera English, joins Here & Now’s Robin Young to look at that and other stories on social media today, including a dolphin selfie in Argentina and an app to avoid the morality police in Iran.
