Wanchese, NC – Over the course of the summer, PRE is taking you to coastal towns and fishing villages faced with increasing residential and commercial development. In June we traveled Down East , where residents are at odds with county commissioners over development regulations. Now we travel to Wanchese, where town planners may have used zoning to protect the town's heritage.
