Beaufort Drawbridge Open Again After Emergency Repairs

The Grayden Paul drawbridge, connecting Radio Island with Beaufort, opened again Thursday afternoon after it was shut down around 9 a.m. for emergency repairs.  Public Information Officer for the Town of Beaufort Rachel Johnson says crews were able to fix the mechanical problem and reopen the bridge in about five hours.
