Greenville, NC – Childhood obesity is a growing problem throughout the state. Over the last 25 years the rate of obesity has doubled for children aged six to eleven. As a result children are suffering from obesity related illnesses. PRE's Ashia Majors reports on the effects of childhood obesity and what one ENC county is doing to combat it.
